Advisory Engagement Designed Around the Complexity of the Transition

Not every residential transition requires the same level of support.

Silk Road Connection offers several levels of advisory engagement so clients can receive the right degree of planning, coordination and oversight for their circumstances.

The appropriate level is determined by the complexity of the transition, the number of residences or destinations involved, the professionals and stakeholders participating, timing, client availability and the degree of responsibility SRC is asked to assume.

Level I
Private Consultation

For individuals and families who want an initial strategic conversation before making major decisions.

This level is designed to clarify the transition, identify potential complexity, surface important early decisions and determine whether additional SRC involvement would be valuable.

Level II
Guided Coordination

For transitions that require structure and selective coordination but do not require full oversight.

SRC may help organize priorities, establish a transition roadmap, coordinate selected professionals and provide guidance at key decision points.

Level III
Expertly Facilitated Transition

For more complex transitions involving multiple professionals, locations, decisions or timelines.

SRC takes a more active role in coordinating the transition, aligning vendors and stakeholders, managing dependencies and helping ensure that the various pieces move forward as one coordinated plan.

Level IV
Comprehensive Transition Oversight

For high-complexity residential transitions where the client wants SRC to assume significant responsibility for planning, coordination and execution oversight.

These engagements may involve multiple residences, extensive vendor coordination, remote ownership, senior or family considerations, renovation or design timelines, specialty assets, storage, multiple destinations or other circumstances requiring sustained oversight.

Level V
Private Client

For highly complex, bespoke transitions requiring a customized scope and an elevated level of involvement.

These engagements may involve multiple residences, extensive coordination across markets, specialty assets, high confidentiality, complex family or advisor involvement and significant founder-level oversight.

How We Determine the Right Level

The recommended engagement level is based on the circumstances of the transition and the degree of accountability the client wants SRC to assume. Factors may include:

  • Number of residences and destinations.
  • Number of professionals, vendors and stakeholders involved.
  • Client availability and need for remote oversight.
  • Timing, sequencing and deadline sensitivity.
  • Family members or professional advisors involved in decisions.
  • Construction, renovation or interior design dependencies.
  • Specialty assets, storage, liquidation or multiple delivery destinations.
  • Confidentiality, access and risk considerations.
  • The level of day-to-day responsibility the client wants SRC to carry.

The Goal Is Not More Service. It Is the Right Level of Accountability.

A private consultation allows SRC to understand the transition, identify the areas where advisory oversight will add the greatest value and recommend the appropriate level of engagement.

Every move is planned and delivered like a promise.

Every engagement starts with a confidential conversation to understand your priorities, timeline, and level of support required.
