Built Around a Simple Belief: Someone Should Be Responsible for the Whole Transition.

Significant residential transitions often involve many excellent professionals—realtors, designers, movers, attorneys, estate managers, property professionals and other specialists. Each may perform an important role, yet the client can still be left responsible for coordinating the entire experience.

Silk Road Connection™ was created to change that. We sit on the client’s side of the table, looking across the whole transition, bringing the right professionals together and providing one trusted point of accountability from planning through completion.

Why Silk Road Connection Was Created

Founder Susan Michl recognized a recurring gap: individuals and families could assemble exceptional professionals and still have no one truly responsible for leading the entire residential transition.

Drawing on decades of corporate leadership, private-client experience and relationship development, Susan created Silk Road Connection to provide the strategic oversight, judgment and accountability that complex transitions require.

The result is a different kind of advisory relationship – independent, highly personal and focused on protecting the client’s interests while coordinating the many people, properties, timelines and decisions involved.

Founder – Led Leadership

Founder & President

Susan leads client strategy, relationship development and the overall transition experience. Her approach combines thoughtful planning, strong relationships and hands-on leadership with a clear understanding that discerning clients value their time, privacy and confidence as much as execution itself.

The Silk Road Way™.

Every successful transition begins with trust, is built through relationships, and is guided by thoughtful leadership.

Trust. Clients invite SRC into highly personal decisions, homes and circumstances. We approach that responsibility with discretion, independence and respect.

Relationships. The right outcome often depends on bringing together the right people. SRC develops and maintains trusted professional relationships while remaining vendor-agnostic and accountable to the client.

Thoughtful Leadership. Complexity requires more than coordination. It requires judgment, anticipation, clear communication and someone willing to take responsibility for the whole picture.

Founder-Led Today. Built to a Higher Standard for Tomorrow.

SRC is founder-led by design. The processes, relationships and engagement standards behind the company are being built around the principles that created it: trust, relationships, thoughtful leadership, independence and accountability.

That discipline allows SRC to preserve a highly personal client experience while building the standards and systems necessary to serve clients consistently across markets.

Florida-Based. National in Perspective.

Silk Road Connection was founded in Florida, but our clients’ lives do not necessarily exist in one market. Residences, family members, advisors, possessions and trusted professionals may span multiple cities and states.

SRC is designed to work across those boundaries—building the appropriate team around each engagement while maintaining one consistent point of accountability for the client. Florida remains an important foundation for our relationships and expertise, while our perspective and network continue to expand nationally.

The Client’s Interests Come First.

Silk Road Connection is independent and vendor-agnostic. We do not exist to sell a particular mover, designer or service provider. We exist to represent the client, assemble the right team for the circumstances and provide thoughtful oversight from beginning through completion.

Every move is planned and delivered like a promise.

Every engagement starts with a confidential conversation to understand your priorities, timeline, and level of support required.
